এসএম বদরুল আলমঃ আজ শুক্রবার (২৮ নভেম্বর ২০২৫) উচ্ছ্বসিত পরিবেশে মিরপুর প্রেসক্লাব চত্বরে প্রিন্ট ও ইলেকট্রনিক মিডিয়ার সংবাদকর্মীদের নিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো মতবিনিময় সভা। মিরপুর প্রেসক্লাব আয়োজিত এই মিলনমেলায় রাজধানীর বিভিন্ন গণমাধ্যম প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে অভিজ্ঞ সিনিয়র সাংবাদিক, তরুণ সংবাদকর্মী এবং সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

আলোচনা সভার সূচনায় প্রেসক্লাবের ভারপ্রাপ্ত সভাপতি এস এম বদরুল আলম বলেন, “সাংবাদিক সমাজ দেশের চেতনা, সংস্কৃতি ও গণমানুষের আকাঙ্ক্ষার প্রতিফলন। সত্য প্রকাশই আমাদের পেশার প্রধান লক্ষ্য। তথ্যের স্বচ্ছতা ও ন্যায্যতা নিশ্চিত করাই হবে আমাদের মূল শক্তি।” তিনি আরোও বলেন, “নতুন উদ্যমে মিরপুর প্রেসক্লাব কে ঢেলে সাজানো হবে।” মতবিনিময় সভায় তিনি সাংবাদিকদের ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে কাজ করে পেশার মর্যাদা অক্ষুণ্ন রাখার আহ্বান জানান।

এরপর বক্তব্য দেন প্রেসক্লাবের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মোহাম্মদ শিহাব উদ্দিন। তিনি বলেন, “মিরপুর প্রেসক্লাব শুধু একটি সংগঠন নয়—এটি সাংবাদিকদের অধিকার ও পেশাগত নিরাপত্তার ঘর। আমরা চাই তরুণ থেকে প্রবীণ সবাই এখানে সমান সুযোগ, সম্মান ও সহায়তা পাবে। আধুনিক, নির্ভরযোগ্য ও নৈতিক সাংবাদিকতাকে এগিয়ে নিতে আমরা প্রতিনিয়ত কাজ করছি।”

সিনিয়র সহ–সভাপতি মাইনুল ইসলাম পলাশ তার বক্তব্যে সমসাময়িক মিডিয়ার চ্যালেঞ্জগুলোর কথা উল্লেখ করে বলেন, “প্রযুক্তির দ্রুত পরিবর্তন, ভুয়া খবরের বিস্তার ও প্রতিযোগিতার বাজার—সবকিছু মিলেই সাংবাদিকতা আজ রূপান্তরের পথে। এই কঠিন সময়ে সাংবাদিকদের একতা ও পেশাদারিত্বই আমাদের প্রধান ভরসা।”

সভায় আরও বক্তব্য দেন সংগঠনের সিনিয়র সদস্য এমএস ইসলাম। তিনি বলেন, “সত্যনিষ্ঠ সংবাদ সমাজকে পথ দেখায়। উন্নত জাতি গঠনে সংবাদকর্মীরা অপরিহার্য ভূমিকা পালন করেন। তাই আমরা সত্য প্রকাশে আপসহীন থাকবো এবং গঠনমূলক সাংবাদিকতাকে আরও শক্তিশালী করবো।”

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রেসক্লাবের সিনিয়র সদস্যসহ অসংখ্য গণমাধ্যমকর্মী—এমএস ইসলাম, খায়রুল ইসলাম, মনজুর আহমেদ, শাহিনুজ্জামান, এমএ গাফফার, জাকির হোসেন মোল্লা, এস এম ইকবাল নিপু,  আসিফ মল্লিক, প্রেসক্লাবের সহ কোষাধক্ষ আব্দুল মালেক, সহ মহিলা সম্পাদিকা নুসরাত জাহান, শফিকুল ইসলাম সাইমনসহ বিভিন্ন টেলিভিশন, সংবাদপত্র ও অনলাইন মিডিয়ার প্রতিনিধি।

পুরো অনুষ্ঠানজুড়ে সাংবাদিকদের মধ্যে ছিল প্রাণবন্ত আলোচনা, মতবিনিময় ও পারস্পরিক অভিজ্ঞতা ভাগাভাগি।

মতবিনিময় সভা শেষে উপস্থিত সাংবাদিকরা পেশাগত উন্নয়ন, নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ ও সহযোগিতার ভিত্তিতে কাজ করার অঙ্গীকার ব্যক্ত করেন। আয়োজকরা জানান, সামনে আরও বিভিন্ন প্রশিক্ষণ, কর্মশালা ও সাংবাদিকবান্ধব উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা হবে।
